It’s known for its diverse culture, ethnicities, and is recognized worldwide as an international hub. Miami contains several historical locations and landmarks. It offers warm weather, inviting water, soft sandy beaches, and a sizzling nightlife. Outdoor enthusiasts can golf, snorkel, and boat their way through Miami or enjoy the art deco style museums, shops, boutiques and outlet malls.

Hospital Description:
Kendall Regional Medical Center‘s new “State of Art” emergency room opened April 2007, boasting 48 beds in the main ED with a designated 5 bed fast track. While high acuity cases are seen, there is no major trauma. The ED is staffed 24 hours a day with physicians, nurses, and specialist. This facility will become a Level II Trauma Center later this year, providing excellence on call coverage. Sheridan Healthcare provides both Adult Emergency Medicine and Anesthesiology services at this location.

• 60,000 adult annual visits
• 48 hours of physician coverage daily in 12 hour shifts + 36 hours of Allied coverage Daily
• 12 hours of allied health provider coverage in fast track daily
• 1.7 pts/ provider / hr
• Adult’s only, pediatric coverage is separate
